3 DOCUMENTARIES THAT WILL CHANGE THE WAY YOU EAT

By 14:25

It was not until December that the cold finally comes to Paris. Well we will not lie, it's horrible, it makes a great cold & wet, suddenly I really want to stay under my plaid rather than go running (and curiously, I've never ran at this moment).
So to fill your weekend staying warm, I offer a selection of three documentaries on food that have radically changed the way I feed me and my vision of the food industry.
food-inc
Be aware that, although from a family who cooks a lot and rather healthy (my mother is the kind of people who could do MasterChef on a misunderstanding and my father worked as a cook in his youth), I ' Yet I had a big slump when I started to live alone.
Bulk I ate: tuna in babybel, raclette cheese in the microwave, Quick-N-Toast beyond reason, ham & Herta of McCain buns.
I really became aware of my poor diet when I lived with my ex-roommate, Elodie  is the largest décrypteuse labels in the world and a great vegan. Some health problems later, I decided to become a vegetarian  and I started to get interested in what I ate and how my food was produced.I read a lot and I also watched what I found ...
Here are three documentaries that have marked me most. They are easy to access, rather funny at times and really "eye-opening".

1 / Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead (Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead)

It's the story of Joe Cross, an obese patient and New Zealand, finding themselves confronted with the limits of allopathic medicine who decides to trust nature and care through its power: he decides to consume only fruit & vegetable juices for 60 days and filming experience.
"Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine thy food. "Hippocrates
With 30 days of experience, Joe decided to go on US roads to give evidence and try to change attitudes.
It is a beautiful documentary, honest & realistic, that does not try to be preachy but who wants to open consciences. A must see !

2/ Food Inc.

Food Inc is an inspiring documentary about food production in the United States. Production of maize Monsanto disastrous livestock rearing conditions, the entire food production system in the USA is questioned.
Interventions many independent experts, journalists, entrepreneurs, farmers & other defenders of consumer rights all converge on a key point: we must change the way we produce and this requires a change in our way of eating.
Fun fact: This documentary was nominated for an Oscar in 2010!
3 / Forks over Knives (Health In Plate)

Independent documentary with a strong bias: based on numerous studies & research, it could control, see cure numerous diseases simply by stopping the animal products.
More than a vegan advocacy, this intelligent documentary sometimes lacks a peak rate or humor.Nevertheless the purpose is critical and it deserves to be seen!
And you then, what are your favorite movies or documentaries about food or sports? I need things to watch for this weekend
