CHIA SEEDS: HOW IT EATS?
We see them bloom everywhere on food blogs and in receipts Pinterest. It is the IT-Food this season and not just because the chia seed (pronounced "Chia") is super photogenic, promise!
Coming from a plant of the family of sages, this seed is rich in protein, fiber, calcium, omega-3 and antioxidants. It is a super food quick to prepare and easy to accommodate because its flavor is imperceptible. Gluten-free, it can be the basis for your little dejs, snacks and desserts.
You can find two different varieties in organic store: white beans & black seeds which have not yet reached maturity. They are interchangeable, knowing that white are generally richer in nutrients.
There are lots of ways to eat it, knowing that it is best to soak it before drinking. Indeed mucilage (a kind of gelatin that forms around the grain when tempering) allows better digestion and uptake.(Source)
